I like The Knot (theknot.com). It has tons of information and ideas, and probably more than one checklist. You have to sign up and create an account, but it's free. Check it out!

I just started planning my wedding for Summer 2011 so I know exactly how you feel. I have seriously fallen in love with theknot.com they have a lot of good tools to get you going. I've been told that the first thing to do really is to settle on a reception hall and the rest will fall into place from there.

The weddingchannel.com has a great resourse of on-line tools. Their planning guide starts with more than a year to go and is very extensive.
