Ceremony venue (deposit paid or permission gained if it is an outdoor ceremony) Reception venue (deposit paid) Decision on whether you would like an outside caterer or the venue to cater Decision on times for ceremony and reception and what meal or snack you will be serving Will you pay for alcohol? DJ or band (deposit paid) (make sure the reception place has the right things for either of these, enough room, enough powerpoints etc) Flowers, bouquet for you (may want to consider 1 that you can throw and another that you can keep), bridesmaid bouquets, flowergirls, button holes for men, corsages for mother of bride and groom. Celebrant or priest organised Notice of intent to marry signed and paid Wedding rings ordered Passports are up to date for any overseas honeymoon Lingerie, shoes, jewellery and wedding dress Hire fees or buying fees for bridesmaid, groom and groomsmen attire Centrepieces and table settings Wedding cake, cake topper and something to cut the cake with Bonboniere (wedding favours) Invites organised with RSVP date talk to local hotels for good deals to offer out of state guests Rehearsals organised Bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts Wishing well or gift registry organised Cars to transfer you to and from places Photographer and videographer Equipment like microphones, speakers, chairs for ceremony organised Seating plan organised and ready to go as guests RSVP Definately get the venue first, then the dress, flowers, cake and entertainment. After that everything else can fall into place.

Planning a wedding is soo stressful! I had to plan mine in probably 4 months. Here is a list of things you would need to make sure you have done. - Flowers for you, bridesmaids, flowers girl, and flowers for the men's tuxes - A reception hall - Wedding favors - If your decorating the reception hall, you will need flowers for there or something you would like on each table - If getting married in a church, make sure you have the date picked with them and see how much you wil need to give the officiant. - DJ or Band - Make sure to send out Save the Date cards about 4 months before the wedding and then the invitations a month before the wedding. - Make sure your dress fits and have no stains, or tears in it - Pick songs out for the wedding and reception - Order the cake ahead of time and make sure to get the cake topper - Transportation for after the wedding I think that is basically all. It all depends on what kind of wedding you are having. If your having a formal wedding, catholic wedding, casual wedding...it all pretty much goes with the kind of weding your having. I hope I helped out abit! And Congrats!! Good luck with planning, its a pain, but in the end its all worth it!!
