Well, i am getting married next month. my boyfriends grandma is going to marry us, and we want it to be nice, but we want to do it ourselves, instead of hiring people. and we also want it to be, well, not very expensive. ive never been married before, and neither has he, so we're kind of clueless as of what all we need to do. if anyone can help me out and tell me what we should do at our wedding or anything it would mean alot. thanks

Hey 1st of all congratulations!!! if youre doing it yourself and your grandma is marrying you it should be pretty easy to organise, but yuo will need a small amount of outside help. this is what you need to do: 1st - find venue, friends yard, house etc, try to plan the space to accomodate chairs for ceremony, whether theyre standing etc, all of this needs to be planned, and also what you pla to do with your guests while preparing for evening. 2nd - sit with your grandma and work out times/ etc and send your invites out! these can be done yourself on the computer but your friends will need notice espeically at this time of year 3rd - flowers, are you wanting flowers? this is your outside help, professional bouquets will make such a difference! spend a little bit here 4th - get your dress, this can be from anywhere really, and make sure that bridesmaids have colour scheme, save money by asking your bridesmaids to choose a dress, any style as long as its in the right colour 5th - suits for guys, can be the same principle. 6th - organise a close friend to be photogropher fo rthe day as your gift, make sure they know who you definately want pictures of. also put a camera on a tripod in one corner, this can be your photo booth and ask friends to take as many pics in the booth as they wish, great momentos of your day also! 7th - rings, optional yes, but for the ceremony it would be lovely to exchange rings 8th - food, ask a family member to put a buffet together and make a cake. 9th - music, either us eyour ipod or ask a DJ friend :D hope you have a great wedding and im sure it will be quaint and beautiful :D
