When planning a wedding feast, what's the recommended ratio of pork (kg live weight) to anticipated guests?

What exactly goes into planning a wedding?
I mean, like a fully detailed list. Theres probably a few things I havent yet thought of in regards to planning a wedding.

When planning a wedding with outside guest attending.. do we pay for outsides guest room?
Okay so we have around 18 outside guest coming into town for our wedding its a little over a year away, but are we responsible for paying for outside guests hotel rooms? My b f and I are the ones paying for everything.. but I was just curious.

I'm planning a wedding for the winter. What are good colors for winter weddings?
The wedding is going to be in December but I am not sure were I want to have my wedding nor the colors to use in the wedding. My fiance is atheist and I am baptist however, we agreed that I could choose the preacher if I do not make him get married in a church. Surprisingly enough, that does not bother me. The only problem is were I can have my wedding. Since it is a winter wedding, the wedding will have to be indoors.My fiance and I just switched are wedding date to October. I've picked the colors red, burnt orange, and chocolate. Do these sound like good colors for this time of year??

I'm gonna be gettin married in a year, so I have a whole year to plan the wedding but I need some Idea's as to how many brides maids I should have, How many ring bears, flower girls, ect. Fiance has 3 Nieces one is 5 the other is 3 and the one is to little to really be a flower girl or nething n then he has 2 nephews which are 3 and 4 then I have nephews that are 11 and 3 so I was wondering what you guys would think about puttin them as flower girls n ring bears or nething like that and what all activitys and everything else there is at a wedding. I plan on kinda doing this myself as my fiance is deployed right now and he wants me to fix it all up instead of hiring a wedding planner. So if any of you have Ideas on anything and colors of the wedding and stuff like that it would help alot Thanks

How to plan a wedding with only about two months to do so?
My boyfriend is going into the military and we've been together for over 2 years, and we decided to get married before he goes to basic, but that is about 2 months away. I only know a few things to planning a wedding, but I know there's a lot of stuff to do especially with only 2 months to do so. How do I plan a wedding reception on a tight budget?
My boyfriend and I want to get married we've been together for 5 years and ready to take that next step. We are on a very tight bugdet and have a place to have the wedding but we cannot have our reception there. Has anyone done a reception at their house? How do you feed people if you do it that way? and seating?
